I took mom's mutt to get groomed, and got my own haircut, and then went to a restaurant I like for an early supper while I waited for the dog to be ready. I had some chicken street tacos. They had good flavor, but the chicken was a bit dry. They came with a good salsa that was on the watery side (common for TexMex salsas), and that took care of the dryness. They were good.

Double espressos to finish. I had a couple of glasses of pinot grigio and we shared a bottle of San Pellegrino.

We ordered from one of our favourite Italian restos. DH had spaghetti bolognese and I had a Cæsar salad with sausage. It was very good, as expected. They sent a whole, warm baguette with that order. The only leftovers are some of the sausage (It came in its own container.) and about half of the baguette.
