GB, nice photos. I think that it is great that you are exposing your daughter to new things when she is young.

A friend of mine, who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area (the land of many Asian Restaurants), learned how to use chopsticks at a very young age. I wish I had learned when I was younger. I can use them well enough to not make a fool out of myself.
 
I love it! In Hawaii, in some of the Japanese department stores, I used to find spring-loaded starter chopsticks! All a child had to learn to do was hold them correctly and close them, they'd open back up and stay connected. It's never too late to learn -- Sierra, the way I learned was that my dad had a couple of sets he brought back from when he was in Korea. Sis and I decided to go on a diet where all we could eat was what we could eat with chopsticks. We didn't get thin!!!
