About 40 years ago when my wife and I were setting up housekeeping, we were given a wood carving board. It was large enough for roasts and a turkey.
It had a juice ring around it that caught all the juices, a little reservoir at the end for the excess juice and it had 4 little spikes on the top that kept the roast from sliding. The spikes were covered by corks when not in use.
I've been looking everywhere for one, but can't find one, even in the foodie emporiums.
Do any of you guys know if such a animal is still made and where they are available?
TIA for any ideas.
Cheers!
Paul
