ok, I realize it comes with fat on it and it did have a bone inside. Is it normal? It was very very good. I used my new dutch oven - seared it and braised it right on the stove...even had automatic gravy in the end, but had to add a cornstarch mixture. I had to eat around some of the fat though.
I also noticed that it's different from boneless loins....the almost 4 lb roast was good for me and my husband and possible one or two more people. But no seconds and not sure if it would be good for more than 4 people.
I should also add that it was a small bone as my husband was able to cut the pork without pulling the bone out. He just didn't cut the end that had the bone in it.
