Hi Guys/Gals... I'm back... long time no post because I was considerably diverted, as they say, I was overtaken by events.
Among my recent travels I ran across a braised tri-tip dish. I thought it was great. I have barbecued Tri-Tip frequently using a marinade and lots of garlic. It turns out ok, but never as fall-apart tender as I would wish.
The braised dish I had was really good and I was hoping some of you had one you could recommend. Apparently it began with steak sized strips carved off the larger tri-tip... almost looked like small NY Strips. Unfortunately I was not in a position to discuss the process with the cook at the time..
Thanks in advance.
