Here's one from my mom...it was Dad's favorite.
Lemon Sours
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 tbl lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Mix together flour and margarine to a fine crumb. Sprinkle evenly into a sprayed 11x7 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs, mix in brown sugar, coconut, nuts, baking pwder and vanilla. Spread on first mixture as soon as taken from the oven. Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Mix lemon juice, zest and powdered sugar until creamy. Spread on top as soon as cake comes out of the oven. Cool and cut into squares.
