One DD wanted fried chicken strips. The other DD wanted breaded cutlets. I made both. Sides were stove-top stuffing (YUCK! But I can't get herb stuffing cubes till thanksgiving), and steamed broccoli. I had a split decision and took some of each.

I guess today is BLT Day in Massachusetts! Ours were on Saloio bread, though, and we didn't have potato chips in the house. *sigh* We did enjoy our salads. (I wish we had chips...)

DDIL made homemade hot pockets. I don't have pictures, but the were very good. The bread was soft, but not all puffy,. You could taste the yeast, which accented the shave ham filling perfectly. I just need to find a veggie to heat up. These would have been amazing with a tomato-basil bisque. Ah well, I'm supposed to stay away from tomatos anyway.

Good stuff guys!
I went to the Farm Stand and picked up some beautiful Yellow Zucchini and Patty Pans (the Tomatoes are for DH, later)

Grilled it all up along with some Mini Sweet Bell Peppers, Sweet White Onions and a Rib Eye and baked a Russet, MMM.
