Been making marmalade for years- first time this has happened. As usual I did add lemon for it to gel. Will it help if I add pectin now and give it a boil again?

Mar 19, 2010 #2 mcnerd Head Chef Joined Oct 30, 2007 Messages 1,326 Location Southern California I guess not doing it correctly the first time you can't do much more harm doing it incorrectly the second time so go for it. I'm curious why you think lemon is needed to create the gel?
