That would be me. I just spent two hours shelling pecans. Not only do you have to shell the, but clean them to verify there are no shell pieces mixed in. Then you have to cut the in half, along the divide, and remove the woody membrane from between the halves, Finally, you toast them to bring out a rich flavor
Why was this foolish? Because shelled, and cleaned pecan halves are readily available.. You know me, everything from scratch.
