Playing in the try it or deny game has made me think of things I have eaten in the past and probably would not face again. Certainly there are foods from one culture that others would not touch.
As a child in what is now Zimbabwe, we used to eat mopane worms - big fat grubs which we quickly fried and flying ants - strip the wings off and flash in a pan of butter. I remember these being a great treat. But now, I don't know if I could face them.
Anyone else got similar experiences?
