ISO advice on dirty rice prep

Why not brown the meat in batches mix it with the veggies and rice in your aluminum trays, add your liquid and bake the rice? I make Alton Browns recipe for baked brown rice all the time and it works beautifully!

    Paleo recipe book?

While not a direct answer to your question, a bit of advice. Check out the cookbooks at your local public library. My library has a great cookbook selection, I've bought a couple of books now that I first checked out and experimented with from my library! :chef:

    Quark

You should be able to find it in a local grocery store. If not any "healthy" market like Whole Foods will have it.

    Turning blender into magic bullet

Why would you use a mason jar when you could just use your blender jar? Is there some advantage to the smaller / airtight jar?

    Small grill pan?

Actually most cast iron you don't want to scrub in soapy water. I like my Le Creuset because of the enamel coating, which makes it easier to clean then non-coated cast iron.
