    Ah thanks, wasn't sure about the singular/plural differentiation in French (?). I thought having the appliance may be equivalent to having a fat fryer appliance when you can just as easily use a frying pan and oil, but I trust your advice :smile: Haven't got great experience with microwave...

    Garlic in a jar

    I see a lot of Americans in here, hi! I'm in the UK and there's two kind of jarred garlic I use. The first is a puree, labelled 'Minced Garlic', which is very flavoursome and convenient for adding to sauces etc. The second is 'Very Lazy Garlic', and similar in concept to what the OP described...

    Do you use your books as much anymore, or the Internet?

    I still like using cookbooks; you can keep them in the kitchen while you cook (I don't have a laptop (:sad:). Also the stains and blemishes from ballistic ingredients add character that a webpage can't have!
