    Thanks GB. that's why i was confused when i read the recipe. it's really hard for me to know how much is 550ml. :tongue: the chef in china grows up without numbers. and they just taste the food to check the measure. of course, for those flavorings only. :lol:

    as a chinese, i m so glad to see that u guys are nearly professional on chinese cooking stuff. in china at moment, less people are using MSG, since some un-healthy stuff was found inside. more and more people are using grounded chicken bouillon instead.

    i found that people would like to use a numeric measure while cooking, like 5g sugar, 6oz beef. etc. i m wondering is that really necessary when we are cooking? it will be a tough job for me to measure everything. thanks for advice. btw, i love this fourm. that seems just for people like me...
