    Gluten Free Recipe Resource

One of my favorite sites is glutenfreerecipebox.com I only wish I had discovered it sooner. It is great for me as a gluten and corn free cook. it offers real replacements for all of our favorite commercially purchased foods.

What about if you actually boiled the pasta in the chicken stock instead of plain ol water with no flavor?

Buckwheat - where do you buy yours?

I buy mine on Earth. I think it is more favorable of a climate. It is cheaper here since I live here. Anyway mine is purchased from this intergalactic distributor that has a base where I live...it is called Amazon and they sell Bob's buckwheat groats and flour.

    Problem Pot Pie

Oh they sell cultured butter. Maybe I should be buying that. Idk why I didn't think about my butter being too fresh. Thanks guys I was starting to think that was just a result of lack of processing or something with the cream being so untouched.

    Homemade yogurt.

I agree with the last post. I just made some yogurt yesterday and it turned out wonderfully. pasteurization does not prevent the proliferation of bacteria. All it does is kill the bacteria currently in the milk by heating it to a certain temperature...which you do anyway when you heat it up to...

    New England Hot Dog Buns

So I tried making a corn dog batter and happened to have some popsicle sticks. Corn-free corn dog turned out fine enough except the bottom didnt cook well enough. I am still waiting on my cast iron dutch oven to arrive so I can put enough grease in it. Still I dont think anything will ever...

    Career vs Parent at Home

Everyone knows that..research has shown it. Life happens you make the best as my parents did when I was in middle...

    Career vs Parent at Home

Well some of us seem to have this other science (other than food science) in common lol. My aunt recently told me if she thought she would ever have to butcher a chicken she would never eat it again. Anatomy class prepared me for it though so I do not mind...even though I love animals. That is...

    So I gotta know

Yeah I should probably just get a good butcher knife first but I wanted to make sure it will fit in whatever storage block I would ultimately need for all my knives. I took anatomy class and ever since always wished I could have that super sharp cutting utensil that goes straight threw the...

    So I gotta know

Everybody who has ever properly used a cast iron skillet, cookware piece loves it. My second favorite kitchen item is in fact my cast iron skillets. I was considering buying a cast iron dutch oven but feared it would be to heavy to be able to recycle my frying oil as I always do. I have a...
