    Butcher Block

Quick question, after fully oiled for a few days, and used, it is regularly washed with soap and water right? Sounds dumb, but I just wanna double check before I ruin anything. Thanx!:chef:

    Butcher Block

I know now exactly what you mean! Great anaolgy! Unfortunately, I got the last one. Im anxious to try it out. All my experiences have been with "wal-mart" laminated wood boards. I notice that these give off powdered wood when you are chopping/slicing/dicing with a really sharp knife! I'm...

    Butcher Block

GB, I got it for $6!!!! at Ross. I could swear that the price was changed, or there was a mistake, because a small plastic board was more expensive! I'll take a pic with the price tag in a bit so I can post it. What is the difference between the grains, and why if I may ask? I would like to be...

I did some research on them, and they...

I just have to be careful because it is pretty sharp! Like I had mentioned before, I'm a dietetics student, so I could not afford...

    Kitchen Aid Santoku

I'm really tempted on buying a 7'' Sontaku by kitchen aid from target. I'm a starter, and I will be taking some food handling courses for my dietetics program. Since I am a full time student I cannot afford a really good blade. I like the feel on my hand, not extremely light, but not heavy as...

    Rio Grande Catfish

DailyRecipes, did you mean Rio Grande as in Rio Grande Valley? Just wondering, cuz I'm from there, and Cat fish is also the choice of fish.
