I usually make lunch meat out of leftovers but have decided to buy roasts and cook up, slice, and freeze so that we can have sandwich meat readily available. I'm going to start with a eye round roast and a turkey breast.
What is the best way to freeze the meat? I'd like to slice it...

I too just got a KA. I won a 6-quart pro series and am in awe. I have wanted one of the smaller ones for years and can't wait to start using it. Anyone know of a board dedicated solely to KA products or the mixer?
I am thawing 2 petite sirloin steaks, will grill those with a potato and will have green beans and a salad with it. The steaks are about 3 ounces each, the correct portion size of meat for adults but well below what FH is used to. I am debating putting something else on the grill for him.
