    Why can't we use hot tap water to cook

    Not having your water hot enough has been linked to Legionnaire's disease (sits in the tank at too low a temp). If the water is nice and hot, It's safe but it is true it can taste bad.

    My wife is from Chicago and loves to have Italian Beef (especially Portillos) whenever we go back. I admit Portillos ROCKS. While I lived in Chicago, they were the one place I really liked to eat that sandwich. Does anyone know how to make great Italian beef at home?

    What to do with Bacon Grease?

    I knew someone who used to fry their eggs in it, splashing the hot oil over the top. I always questioned the health aspects of it. It was sorta tasty... In a greasy kinda way.
