    Be careful with our bar!

The owner of Abseits Rock bar has posted on FaceBook that the bar looks in tact from the outside at least. He is not allowed back in yet though. The explosion was so strong, that there were fires in the area.

    Glass Cookware

I had a glass lidded coffee perculator once. The lid could withstand lots of heat, as it was on when perculating the coffee. One time, I put it in cold water while it was still hot, right after perculating some coffee. Apparently, that type of glass is not supposed to be put in cold water when...

    What's your heat tolerance level?

I presume you mean heat, as in temperature, rather than spiciness. Temperature wise, I like my hot food to be hot, but not so hot it injures my mouth. For heat as in spicey, I like just a touch of spicey, so I can still taste the other flavours with it.

You put a raw egg in a cup, with a few splashes of milk. The trick to consuming it is to swallow the lot without breaking the egg yolk...

    Vegetable crisp snacks - suggestions

Deep fry a selection of veggies in batter, and make a dip to go with them. I usually make sweet and sour dip. You can make it by cooking sugar with vinegar.
