Not sure yet what's for supper. I really don't feel like getting the kitchen dirty today. I have 2 good sized corned beef briskets in the smoker. Tomorrow family is coming by for St. Pats dinner. So I am thinking something small tonight.

I have not grown potatoes in many years so there may be new hybrids I am not aware of. With that said russet potatoes are a good all purpose potato. Imho I think they would work well for all but the potato salad which I like to use a waxier (sp) spud for.

It is so nice here today I fired up the smoker. I have a meatloaf in it for supper. As long as it was going I threw in some chicken wings and a small ham. :yum:

Yesterday I smoked a couple of ham hocks. So today I poached them in chicken broth and shredded the meat. I added potatoes, onion and garlic and cooked until tender and added green beans. I also smoked a pork tenderloin today so I have plenty of good leftovers for lunches this week.:yum:
