    Cooking Yukon Gold Potatoes

blissful I'll have to do that. Hadn't thought of doing that. GotGarlic Seems to me I'd read potato cooking in a microwave should only take about 4 min. These were microwaved for tree minutes so maybe that was the problem. I didn't think so as the centers were all soft as I'd expected. I...

    Cooking Yukon Gold Potatoes

Some weeks ago I did a slow Cooker recipe that called for Gold potatoes. The recipe called for 8 hours on slow. I'd quartered the potatoes as called for. At the end of the cooking time some of them were still hard and crunchy. Recently I decided to finish what was left of the potatoes. I...

Slow cooker creamy potatoes and Kielbasa

That's what I thought too so was surprised at the outcome. There was one other thing I neglected to mention; the cream cheese never seems to have integrated itself into the food, there were still very small chunks that stuck to forks and knives. Saves writing things down. Here is where you can download it. It has a cloud function if you want to pay...

Slow cooker creamy potatoes and Kielbasa

My wife and I both love Kielbasa so I am going to make it tomorrow. I have one question though, I've read/heard that one can substitute yogurt for sour cream and since I have plenty of yogurt (Greek) I'd like to use that in place of the sour cream. Any thoughts?

    Another new old person

I've looking around for a cooking forum lately. Well, let's begin sorta at the beginning, as with many other people my first "cooking experience" was watching/helping my mother making cookies of cake. I enjoyed mixing and finger cleaning the bowl after the dough was put onto cookie sheets or...
