    Help Me Pick Some Equipment

    Ok, my birthday is going to be here in 2-3 weeks, and im going to ask for some cooking untensil's as a gift. Are there any cheap/very good knifes, for dicing, peeling, meat, veggies, potatoes, etc. Very good ones, but affordable. And can someone point me in the direction of a nice cheap broiler/wok.

    How many cups of uncooked rice are equal to 1/2 cooked rice

    Lol.. Can somebody help me out, so I dont waste any rice. Im going to use one of thise nice rice steamer's, to make the white rice. Can someone tell me approximatly, how many cups of UNCOOKED rice, are equal to 1/2 COOKED rice.
