That sounds really good! I will have to try that! I love the smell of yeast waffles, smells like baking bread (with an 1/8 of the work!) Yum...yeast waffles and fried chicken...I think I will have to put that on the menu...

I made Peach and Plum dumplings, old German recipe (actually I combined 2 recipes). Popcorn does sound good! :rolleyes:

Fried chicken and waffles? That sounds really interesting! I have a good fried chicken recipe I created myself but it is published on All Recipes, so I don't know if it is copyrighted or not.

I don't measure when I cook and create something, so if you find a measurement off a little and something works better for you, by all means change it! I also make a mean spinach waffle :chef: ! Might post that in a little while... Thanks for responding!

Thanks for the welcome! My bread machine actually broke this summer and I am having to bake by hand. I don't mind since I know how, but it sure was nice to dump everything into the basket and press start!

Thanks, guys, for the advice. I couldn't find farina so I just combined the two recipes (Basically added more flour to the potato dough). I thought the result was fantastic...is there a place on this forum I can post food pics?

I love waffles, they are so versatile! Instead of bread, sometimes I use a waffle to make a sandwich. Here is one of my 'sandwich waffle creations' :chef: I submitted this to another recipe site, but they didn't accept it, so it has never been published: Carrot Cake Waffle Sandwiches 1 cup...

I have been wanting to make plum or peach dumplings...German recipe where you wrap the fruit in dough and boil it. One of the recipes I was looking at calls for farina? I have NO idea what this is! Can anyone help? Could I sub something else?
