    Can I omit the alcohol from my recipe?

    Hi. I have a recipe (steak dianne) that requires 1/2 cup red wine, and 2 tablespoons on brandy. I'd rather not add any alcohol, but what could I subsitute for the alcohol? Water? I am not sure. Thanks for your time.

    Hi. I've got a recipe that I'd love to try but it has about 1 cup of sliced up mushrooms.
