I haven't been here in a while I like the tomatoes by each forum.
I am so glad to see someone else likes old cookbooks. I have very few compared to you guys, but I love love me some vintage cookbooks.
I've come to like blue cheese on my wangs. Restaurants expect customers want ranch and they 'water' it down. Blue cheese is perfect especially if it has the chunks a cheese in it.
Wow sounds like a good time! It is just my husband and I so we don't do much. I usually make a chilli dip with jalepenos. I've heard of a buffalo chicken dip that sounds good.
Anything you want to bring will be perfect Bob.
I want to thank everyone for responding to my thread. There is not a better group of folk. Cheers to you all and I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

I can see what I think is the igniter. It appears to be working?
I will call someone to fix it but in the meantime I will improvise.
Hope you and your wife have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Is there anything I can't cook in a crock pot? Casseroles? I have a microwave but I haven't tried to 'cook' anything with it. Thanksgiving is days away!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you Kathy.
I'm not sure of any of the books you listed, but I am going to look closely at the content of each one. One books had main dishes, apetizers, side dishes, etc.
The other volume had desserts, breads, drinks, etc.
I had a set of readers digest cookbooks (2) and I can't find them. Does anyone know the ones I speak of? One was blue the other red. I can't find any of my cookbooks so I would like to start over and hopefully get the ones I remember. The other one I know of is the The Nashville cookbook...
I need to get in on this thread. I've never made giblet gravy and don't really care for it, but DH does. I remember giblet gravy having hardboiled egg in it.
Can someone give me directions for it please?
I don't know Bob, I'm hit and miss in the kitchen.
Here is what I'm wanting to do. I want to send my secret santa recipent pretzels covered with rollos and a pecan on top. I wonder if the rollos will melt. Then I worry the pretzels will break. I love the idea of popcorn cuz it will go so well...
