    Your Best Homemade Pizza Tips

I've recently started making my own pizza (easily beats the grease-loaded pizza that is delivery). I use half white wheat flour and half regular flour, since it makes me feel like I'm eating a little healthier. A big difference I noticed for me was when I started making my sauces with organic...

How Many Cookbooks Do You Have?

I'm addicted to buying the old cookbook/leaflets from the 1950s--I'll go to the used library book sales and buy stacks of fun ones for 50 cents each. I noticed cookbooks are one of the first things to go at these sales! I really need a three-ring binder for all the recipes I print off the Internet.

    What's some inexpensive, healthy food?

You could make a mujadarra, with lentils/rice/onion. Try making homemade soups, they are cheap and easy and can be frozen for future meals. Also, can you eat sweet potatoes? Really tasty...I'm trying to think of more foods....:ermm:

    Favorite Tea

I've been getting into the loose-leaf teas from Adagio. My favorites have been the white teas, especially White Grapefruit. I also like green tea and jasmine oolongs. Right now, I'm drinking a tea I found at the store--Numi "White Rose"...it's OK, nice aroma.

The whole nut thing is driving me nuts

I love the Blue Diamond almonds. I read somewhere that a serving of almonds can fit in an Altoids container---I keep meaning to save an empty tin and have a portable snack that way.

    Peanut butter

I love peanut butter! I just bought some organic, freshly-made cashew butter though, to try something different. It tastes pretty good, but it doesn't "melt" on my toast the way PB (from Jif!) does. As much as I love cashews, it's hard to give up my Jif.

    Eggland's Best eggs worth it?

I recently bought a dozen Eggland Vegetarian Fed, no antibiotics used, brown eggs ($2.79). The taste is a little better, but I don't think I'll go back to them. They're harder to crack, a thicker shell---does that mean it's more fresh? Not sure. Really I was just looking for something that...
