    Tons of Cream!

You can whip about 2 cups of it with a pkg of vanilla pudding. Add some conf sugar to taste and viola! You've got a great mock pastry cream to use in roll cakes, napoleans, layer cakes, strawberry shortcakes, cream puffs/eclairs....etc!!!

    My cakes are too dry!

All the suggestion here are great and if all else fails, brush a sugar syrup on the layers before frosting so that it will soak into the cake and moisten it.

    Sour cream coffee cake problem

If you want to use a bundt pan, i normally pour a little batter in first (that will be the top layer once unmolded), then put half the brown sugar mixture, then more batter, mixture and finish with batter. Batter should be on top and bottom to ensure no sticking (i still grease the pan). If...

Need recipe for easy Rhubarb bars

Hey! Next time you make them, add strawberries as well. Strawberries and rhubarb are a great combination. I stew rhubarb with frozen strawberries, sugar and water until i get a thick chunky syrup. This can top a piece of angel food cake or pound cake. I have even served this as a sauce with...

    Deep Fried Twinkies?

I saw them on a Food Network show and tried them out myself. They really are so good. Have you tried deep frying candy bars? Tried that too. It just goes to show that battering and deep frying anything is pretty darn good!
