    Mango splitter

    I have one and it definitely does work ~~ and very well at that! I've always loved mangos but refrained from buying them because of the pitting problem. Now that I have this little gem, I buy them on a regular basis.

    Baked or grilled?

    pick up a bottle of lite italian dressing at the grocery store, any brand will do, dump meat and dressing into a ziplock bag and marinate overnite or a day or two in the fridge, then grill-delicious!! I do this all the time with pork and boneless chicken breasts. Tasty and healthy.

    Pumpkin Raisin Cake I would say walnuts for this one but whichever one you choose, I would definitely toast them first. It makes a huge difference in the finished product.

    Don't bother brining-I don't think it's necessary with pork tenderloin. Your sauce sounds amazing!!

    My quest for the ultimate buttermilk biscuits!

    I love biscuits, tall and fluffy but I can't make a good one to save my life!! Mine come out like hockey pucks but then again, I'm a New Yorker. I will try your recipe for sure. BTW, lard makes the best pie crust. It's all my mother ever used for hers and it's what I use.

    Buy a can of Fruit Fresh. You should find it at the grocers where all the canning stuff is. I use it when I can fruit. It prevents the discoloration and it does work. Just use as directed on the can.

    How to clean a Dutch Oven

    I clean my cast iron with kosher salt and water. Gets everything off without ruining the seasoning of the pan. I've never used soap on them. Dry immediately and coat with crisco.

    I've had mine since they first came out. I have to have every new toy ya know!! I love them but there are a few things to keep in mind. Never put them in the dishwasher. Just hot soapy water and rinse - they'll still feel greasy but that's because of the silicone - the nature of the beast...
