I bought a haggis from a specialist butcher and liked it very much. However, now I know its ingredients including lungs, naturally I feel a bit squeamish. Similarly, black pudding, but I won't go there.

My favourite is first, Feta. A lovely creamy cheese locally produced, unlike the salty bitter variations that I find in British supermarkets. Secondly, Cheddar made at the Dadidstowe Creamy, also a firm favourite in my family. Parmigiano Reggiano is always lovely but costs a small fortune...

Thanks for the tip. We have many deeply red chillies, "mature", and I think that's what we'll try next time because we have a big greenhouse and a conservatory, too.

.40 Today we've had such bad weather that the storms broke many of our flowers including the chilli plants. I've since picked all the chillies which are being threaded into lenths to be dried. I am sad not to be able to share those pics which you reqeusted. Hopefilly maybe next summer, then.
