I despise electric can openers for whatever stupid reason. I think that I just mainly view them as eternally "dirty" & full of toxins...who knows exactly...just that I avoid them. I actually just use a military-style, rustic little metal bit-o-nuttin to open my cans. They work just fine for me...

So, specifically speaking - what really makes a "yam" a yam, &, what makes a "sweet potato" a sweet potato???

Anyone?...I bought 5 sweet potatoes from the Farmers Martet on Friday, but....am "stumped" as to prepare them if they are actually just yams or not? I think it would help me gobs in figuring out how to prepare them...just a bit "thrown off" at this point...any helpful advice?

Glad that you mentioned this tax, because, I have found a way to "amp" it up....soak the bread w/the mixings, then pop it into your oven for around 4-5 min.'s or so, &....Holy Moley - it goes from good to almost an angelic quality!! It is amazing how yummy it gets! :)

If my DH does the meat-shopping, well, I can predict like Nostradameus that he will show up with Angus meat packages....vs. sending me into the exact same store as he just shopped, &, my items are a complete 180% of what he just picked. *slaps head*...He shops names that are comfortable to him...

Barb, I am sincerely confused...please forgive...the reports that I have maintained suggest that there are actual MORE reports of discomfort, plus added accounts of diarehhea due to the lack of the gallbladder. Honestly, I am scared 2 ways from Sunday!!!!
