Using and cleaning ss cookware 101, please

I mean as hell to my pans. I use all sorts of metal utensils during cooking and scouring pads to clean. Still, I've had no problems with food sticking and the pans hold up just very well

    Sub forums

Heard that. I feel like there is more than enough sub categories. If you have questions about a specific appliance and can't find a post about it, start a new thread. Pretty simple.

    How about fish tacos?

Whitefish is reaaalllyy common around my town. It's not too bad, very subtle in the flavor department. I like tilapia in my fish tacos.. mmm

How do I add a pic to my profile, using my phone?

Unfortunately the app doesn't allow you to upload photos. You can try it through the mobile web option doing it like you would on your computer, or you can do it through your computer by either emailing the photo to yourself or using the USB cable that should have come with your phone.

    Fondant question

Very nice, Bolas. that's something that I always thought was amazing - cake decorating. I'm not artist so I stick to steak and potatoes.

How do I add a pic to my profile, using my phone?

Yeah, we'll need more information. Starting out: What kind of phone? (brand and model and OS if you can)

    ISO Healthy Sandwich Fillings

If you went with a classic like ham and cheese, the best way to keep your bread from getting soggy is to put the condiments between the ham and cheese.. in the spirit of being healthy you could use some deli turkey and some swiss with mustard in between.

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

When my family makes it, it's usually shredded all to hell. And dry. I have had fried turkey once. It was better than the roasted I have had. My friends are going to start having an annual "friends thanksgiving" and I get a free turkey from work. I thought I'd donate it to the friend dinner...

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

I really haven't. I just don't really like the flavor of turkey for some reason. I have actually never had it smoked.. that might be a good one to try.

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

So that's the answer to the question. Fat. There is not enough fat in turkey to make a long, slow cooking process work. That's the part I was missing in this whole thing. I concede. I'll go with frying.

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

Alright, so we need a higher temperature to make it safe. I was thinking something along the lines of a sous vide method. As for the statement "Turkey isn't supposed to fall off the bone." That's not true. It's just not common practice but that doesn't mean it couldn't be good. Cooking is...

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

I actually don't much like the flavor of the meat itself. When cooked it's rarely seasoned and I think it needs to be brought up to a higher level. I'd almost like to treat it like a pork barbecue roast with a rub but cook it in a slow cooker. I was looking at a few things on google and saw...

    Slow-Cooked Turkey?

So lately I've been using my crock pot a lot and it's got me thinking about Thanksgiving. I really don't like turkey and have avoided eating it for the past few holiday seasons. I would like to like it and I started thinking about ways to cook it. I've had it roasted, baked, and fried and it...

    Flattening Chicken Breasts

I am really bad at doing this. I've use a recipe or two in the past that required me to pound out the chicken breast, usually for wrapping around something. Everytime I do it I have the worst time. I can never seem to get it as flat as I think it should be. anyone have any tips or tricks? I...

    Cheesy chicken breast?

I have done the cheese thing before.. it all ended up oozing out. Still tasted good though, that's what counts, right?
