Do you know if it's ok to refrigerate the dough overnight before making? I plan to make regular and diabetic cookie dough tonight and make the cookies tomorrow after work.
Edit: Answered my own question....found this recipe here VGS - View a Recipe - American Diabetes Association
For rolled...
I read a neat trick that instead of icing sugar cookies, you mix egg whites with food coloring and brush it on the cookies before cooking and when they come out they have this nice colored glaze to them....has anyone ever tried this before? I think I want to!!
Sometimes my grocery store has buy a pound of ham or turkey, get a pound free. If I were to freeze one of those pounds for a week or two, would it be good and edible when it thawed?
Thanks.
Hi all, it's been a while.
Looking for a couple of things. First, the best way to bake a sweet potato and secondly any baked (ie, not candied or mashed or casseroled) sweet potato recipe you have.
Thanks in advance!
I picked some of these up to make a peanut butter noodle dish with. In the past I have always used spaghetti. I tried these noodles out last night. The instructions state to dip into boiling water for 40 seconds. I did this, tasted one and it was chewy...so I left it in longer...20 more...
Ok, here's the criteria:
1. No beans
2. Something with a kick, but not TNT
3. Pretty Hearty
I have tried a few from various books but to no success.
Thanks in advance!
My fiancee and I went to a Japanese restaurant. They had several flavors of ice cream for desert, we decided to try the red bean ice cream since we had never heard of it before. It was sooo good.
Anyone know anything about this? Origins, etc.
Went to a bbq yesterday. They had all different kinds of fruit cut up in a bowl and they poured some vodka into it and mixed it around - boy was that good!
I buy the bait traps and stick them in places my kitties can't get to - inside the closet, under the sink...ants eat the bate and bring it back to their nest.
I love making pigs in a blanket with little smokies. Using crescent rolls, I cut each roll (one triangle) into three and I wrap one little smoky in one of the three pieces of dough. Then cook at 350 for maybe 10 minutes. Serve with spicy mustard.
When I said better and superior, I meant, that in their commercials they say that they are healthier and higher in protein....I actually wasn't even aware that they were free range eggs.
