    Freezing vegetables

    Amber, I use the zip lock freezer bags, to freeze my fruits or juices during the summer so I can make jams/jellies when the fruit is out of season. And I have`nt had any problem. works great.

    Favorite thing to cook?

    I love making the holiday meals. I want everyone out of the kitchen so I have plenty of room to operate. on a regular basis i like to make what I call my refrigerator soup(all the leftovers for that week) with a castIron skillet of cornbread. and a big cold glass of milk.

    Making a batch of jam or jellies over years has averaged about 30 minutes from start to finish. this ladies mom might be making more the one batch. I know that was the case with my mother she never made just one batch. i use the hot pack system and it works great for me.
