Any ideas on how long store bought chicken broth stays good once opened? I use the resealable boxes, not cans and refrigerate after opened. Thanks for any thoughts.
I have about a gallon of turkey stock I made from the turkey carcass on Friday. Has been in our second refrigerator since then and I totally forgot about it. I'm wondering if it's still good and can I just freeze it?

Hi - New to this - looking for some advice about the Good Eats brined turkeky from Alton Brown. Can you substitute ground ginger and allspice? Can't find allspice berries and candied ginger is too expensive. Thanks!
