    Pizza Hut Testing 'Skinny Slice'

I think offering a healthier option is a good idea. If you're with people who are ordering pizza and you're watching what you eat, it's nice to have the option.

    New Here from Switzerland!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I haven't been cooking much lately, I assist my SO from the sofa :-). Raclette or fondue sounds good! Though, I don't think fondue is allowed in the pregnancy "diet"... raw milk :-(. I'm not sure about Favag clocks, I can research it and see if it's still...

How do you make tomato puree into sauce?

Do you want to make it into a "marinara" sauce? In that case, sauté some garlic and onion, or just garlic, add the tomato sauce, let it simmer a bit. Add some spices like oregano and salt. Check to make sure it's not too acidic. If it's too acidic add a teaspoon or so of sugar.

Having difficulty making delicious cheese sauce for pasta

How did you have your main meal growing up?

We had dinner around 6pm, at our big kitchen table. My dad worked night shifts and would leave for work at 9:30, so he usually prepared dinner. He grilled a lot so we usually had meat, vegetables and a potato. Once my older brothers moved out, we didn't eat together so much. Usually I ate with...

    Subway

The meat at Subway is not good, I prefer Jimmy John's. That being said, Subway is all we have here in Switzerland, and it's few and far between. I have it when I have an intense craving for something from home.

    Talking about blueberries

The blueberries we get in Switzerland are terrible. They're tasteless and expensive and imported from Spain, which doesn't seem like a great place to grow blueberries.
