    I bought a 9 lb turkey .. a fresh one not frozen, too! I did originally buy a turkey breast but didnt think before I bought it though .. For some reason, I thought breast had dark meat, too, but it didnt, so I took it back (15 minutes after I bought it) and got the whole one instead.

    Regardless of what it is, I still like it .. I like the giant sandwich with homestyle fries. I dip the fries in the arby sauce since I'm not big on ketchup. :lol:

    I bought a tri-tip roast, I think? Now I cant remember, but its one of the more tender cuts. I plan on making it for dinner on Sunday. Which do you think would turn out better? Crock pot or Oven? I've only used my crock pot once.

    What is the best cut for a nice roast beef? I made a spiral ham for Christmas for hubby & me, and enjoyed having the leftovers. So, I thought it would be nice to cook a roast beef. I wont be using my crockpot, so what is a good one for the oven? Any suggestions? :wink:

    :oops: I am baking some chocolate chip cookies, and they are turning out flat. I am cooking them for 9-11 minutes as the recipe says. I take them out and let them cool for 2 minutes, before putting them on a plate, and they are falling apart. Why are they turning out so flat?
