Bummer!!! I went to the grocery store today specifically to get maple extract, and they didn't have it. Grrrrrr. It's a big supermarket, but the only one, in this one horse town. They had every other kind of extract known to man, but no maple. Guess I have to wait till I go to the big city next week. My mouth was all set for some maple blondies with maple buttercream frosting. Whaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Maple frosting? Hmmmm...these don't usually last long enough to frost, but I bet that would be amazing. Got a recipe? Or just butter icing with maple flavoring?
Maple Sugar!

Maple sugar, June? I don't think I've ever seen it in this neck of the woods...well, we don't have woods here, just citrus orchards.

I'll look for it in the "big city" grocery today.

I love Blondies, they are probably my favorite dessert.

Wife is planning to make some this weekend (of course I will help!), I'll try to post some pictures!
