I think I might be coming down with something so I wasn't feeling overly hungry tonight. We had the bacon shrimp & grits, but the broccoli didn't make it any further than the cutting board. Maybe tomorrow.

From what I understand, it originated in Charleston, South Carolina. But you see it all over the gulf coast. The first time I had it was in New Orleans.

I made beef tenderloin with sauce Raifort (bechamel infused with freshly grated horseradish), twice-baked potatoes, and steamed green beans. It was one delicious dinner.
