Yes I finally did make this. I was just cooked wild rice, crumbled/cooked Bob Evan's Sage sausage, 1 tsp poultry seasoning all mixed together and then stuffed into the acorn squash halves. Baked tightly covered in casserole dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour. I added about a 1/2" of water to the dish before covering it.

Quoth the chicken, "Fry some more."
