Sunday Supper 11/10/19

What's cooking at your house today?

SC brought home some frozen shrimp that was on sale, and he cleaned a pound of them so I can make Kayelle's Shrimp Cakes
We'll have them with sides of roasted asparagus, and Angel Hair pasta with herbs.

Our dinner wine will be from a new shipment of assorted wines we ordered. This one will be Butler & Thief Vermentino from Lodi Ca.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but rather by the moments that take our breath away.

I made chili served over brown rice.

I also had shrimp for dinner. Cleaned and shelled, quickly fried up on the cast iron, chopped, and added to a stir fry with rice, scrambled eggs, peas, and a little soy sauce for seasoning. Fresh fruit salad for a side.

Our grandson came for a visit and I supervised as he cooked dinner for us.

Steven made bacon macaroni and cheese, broiled kielbasa and some sliced veggies. (He chose the menu too.)
