The run down on "BBQ" shrimp. Here are the shells and heads cooking down to make the base.

The base after it has been strained and reduced from 1-1/2 cups to about 5 TBSP.

The shrimp after being tossed with the creole seasoning.

The shrimp when done.

The biscuits after being cut out.

The finished biscuits.

Thanks folks, those biscuits are almost impossible to walk away from. If you have never tried BBQ shrimp, you are missing out big time. Don't worry, the spice cancels out the cream and butter!

OOp0s, this should be on the Saturday thread! I feel dumb!

Dawg, just remember that the heads went to the BBQ base and only the aft section went to the actual bbq. I garuantee the finished product is excellent! The recipe for both the shrimp and biscuits are in Emerils, New New Orleans book. Really good stuff.
