I didn't want to do a lot of work tonight so I thawed a piece of London broil I've had in the freezer for a month or so, cut it into slices and then used a whole envelope of McCormick's mesquite seasoning on it. After that I slow cooked it in the oven on a rack, 200° for about 45 - 50 minutes.

In a couple minutes I'm going to make a cream cheese base chocolate pie. And then I wonder why I can't lose weight! :glare:

Soup won! I used kielbasa, cannellini beans, and escarole in chicken broth. Grated a generous amount of parma cheese on top. Boy, it sure hit the spot!

The store had thin sliced sirloin steaks on sale. So I decided on fajitas tonight.

When I find these, especially if on sale, I use them to make Bistec Palomilla and serve with black beans, white rice and tostones or maduros. This is good Cuban comfort food.:yum:
