BTW, I used to spend a lot of time there when I lived in the neighbourhood and talked to the owner when he was still tweaking his recipe. Yes, I did meet Leonard Cohen there a number of times.
I think it was the Main that I went to. This was years ago but I know it was so good. I was visiting my roommate from university in Regina and she lived near there. I was doing a double major in English and French and she was in Regina to learn English. So I would only talk to her in English and she would only talk to me in English! We did that in Montreal as well and so if we ate out I had to translate for her. It was fun and a great way to learn.
