Comfort food here too. I made pot roast tonight. Plus I simmered chicken to use for Brunswick Stew tomorrow. Picked those bones clean, so the most time-consuming job is done. All I have to do tomorrow is cook the raw veggies, then heat the chicken and a few canned veggies until the flavors blend and everything is hot. Going to run a container of it up to my SIL's since she was a sweetie and shoveled my side of the driveway so we didn't have to worry about a slippery drive when we got home. A nice meal is the least I can do.
