I typically make an organic Sumatra coffee on the weekends and then ruin it with coffee mate for cream. But for tomorrow I have

vanilla bean. Do I scrape it into the press, or add it to my coffee mug or something completely different. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Not sure. I think I'd scrape it into your press. Give it a shot. Then you still have the leftover bean to play with.

I ended up scraping it and putting it right in the coffee. It was good but not great. Gonna put it right in the press tomorrow.
