I often make bacon in the morning and make a sandwich with it that night. It has never made me sick.

I read the title to this topic and thought it was going to be about leaving bacon out of a recipe, which is a crime IMHO! It's that pork fat thing; I share it with Emeril . . . . .

Sorry, I digress. Glad it's not about leaving out the bacon from a recipe though!

Oh for heaven's sake - there's nothing wrong with it, & I do hope you ate it. Even without reheating.

I'm bad, I've bought bacon and forgotten to refridge it overnight. Cooked it and never had a problem. I figure I see ham and bacon sitting on the shelves in stores so it is one food I just don't worry about. I'd have eaten it.

eh, there's so much salt in bacon that it could probably be safe if it crossed the atlantic in a tupperware.

I've eaten McDonald's Big Breakfast bacon left on the kitchen table all day. I probably would have eaten them the next morning if left overnight.
Maybe they're not bacon...
