Hi everybody

I like and enjoy cooking, but what enjoy most about cooking is baking and frying. Given the scarcity of resources, we tend to re-use cooking oil. Is it healthy to do this, and what health implications are involved in this type of practice ?

First Welcome to DC.

I strain my oil through a coffee filter. Or you can use cheese cloth. You can use it again. But keep it in the fridge. Once it has been used, it should be kept in a cool, dark place. Do not store oil that has been heated about 375ºF. At high temps the chemical balance will break down and will tend to go rancid quickly.
