OK, this is going to sound like a really strange question but I'm wondering why you have to put whipped cream in the freezer after two weeks. Does that mean if it isn't open already?

I bought some and kept in the fridge meaning to make something with it but didn't get to it and two weeks past so I put it in the freezer. Actually I think it was two weeks and one day. It was opened up a couple days or so ago.

Is it going to spoil if it isn't in the freezer within two weeks and make one sick?

Thanks so much for reading this.

Yes, and if it was past its "use by" date when you put it in the freezer, it will be past the use by date when you take it out. Freezing stops the clock, but doesn't improve the condition of the food.

Are you talking about whipped cream, or Cool Whip?
Cool Whip is not dairy therefore not whipped cream.....
and yes if you are not going to use it soon re-freeze it because whatever it really is will get moldy and gross quick.

Thanks for your help and yes it is like Cool Whip actually. I'm allergic to milk so I try to get non dairy.

I'm glad I put it in the freezer. I was afraid it might mold.
