Since I had the camera out, I took a few shots of what's blooming in my yard. I'm glad I caught the cherry blossoms this year. I have a weeping cherry in the front, but missed those again (dang it).

Thanks. Anyone else have pics? The lilies will be going crazy in a few weeks. I'll take some pics of those too.

I live in shade...a LOT of shade. Bulb plants are eaten before they ever have a chance. For some reason the squirrels/vols/whatever it is that eats these, missed this one. It's the first time in 11 years I have EVER seen blooms on them. So folks, this is the extent of my blooms :(

Pretty Jeekins.
Too cold here yet for much, I found some hostas poking up this morning.
I planted 70 tulips 2 falls ago, I think I have 5 that haven't been eaten yet. :( Darn vermin!
I do have a havve bunch of chives though, a little mint and a little sage.

HAHA. I have/had tons of those. I call them tinker bells. lol They spread like crazy. I actually dug up a bunch last year because they were getting out of hand.

They look like my Lily Of The Valleys.

Beautiful! What are the purple ones hanging over the rocks?

I believe it's called Mountain Pinks. Stuff grows like crazy. If you need some ground cover, this is it. I ripped out about 8 feet from the front of the bed and gave it to a friend of mine. It was waay too much. I try to train it to look like it overflowing and cascading down the stone. Only flowers in early spring, then it's all green.

Those are "lily of the valley", do great in shade, and do self sew.
It's a shame somethings destroying them. I would check with your local extention service to see what you could do to prevent that. Or put a piece of chicken wire just under the soil surface, or dig them up when finished blooming and store in cool dry place for next year.

The cherry blossoms are so beautiful. I asked my dh to plant me a cherry blossom tree for mother's day. I hope he does it.

Beautiful Jeeks.... seems very calm, peaceful, and relaxing around your home.
