Honest, We Didn't Know It Was "Wine!"

We drink a lot of San Pellegrino sparkling water. Yesterday we reloaded at Restaurant Depot. Four cases of 12, 1L bottles for $11 and change. We went to Publix to finish our weekly shopping. As we were loading the bags into our hatch back, one of the "bag boys" (he was in his mid-60's) was collecting carts. While waiting for our cart, he asked if that was good wine. After a few seconds I realized he was referring to the water. No, I didn't bust out laughing.

Last year, Karen was in Mississippi helping her dad and his wife (she had a bad car accident). They had workers in the middle of a bathroom remodel. She got a glass of San Pellegrino and one of the workers asked her if it wasn't too early to start drinking.

I guess people associate a green glass bottle to only wine?

Or check the list of ingredients on the bottle. Maybe those folks know something you don't know.

It's kinda like wine if you add some good whiskey to it. LOL!
