Just ate a Twinkie that a coworker gave me, hadn't had one in years but it tasted how I remembered!

Awww, Minions!

I don't know that I've ever had a Twinkie. Banana creme filling?

I enjoyed it. Seemed to have more filling than I remember, or maybe I'm remembering the knockoffs. Very soft and fresh. Not something that I'd buy on the regular, but a great taste of nostalgia.

IF my trivia is correct ... BEFORE WWII Twinkies had Banana crème filling BUT when the war started the soldiers got the fresh bananas SO the filling was changed.
